(Monclova, OH) The 2009 racing season has begun and with a snap of a finger the first month is almost in the record books. Attica Raceway Park was the first track to swing open their gates in the Buckeye State and Byron Reed took full advantage of their 410 sprint car rich schedule to get in some of his first laps of the season. Only one event has been canceled due to Mother Nature so far which is a far cry from last season. This year also has started off with impressive car counts with well over thirty 410 sprint cars pulling into the pits each night of competition at Attica & Fremont.

B&S Racing proved that it would take superior consistency to beat them this year in any championship battle as the team has collected two top-5 finishes at Attica Raceway Park and a hard fought top-10 at Fremont Speedway . The only finish for Byron outside the top-10 was a 14th place finish when the O'Reilly All Star Circuit of Champions rolled into Attica for the HD Supply Spring Nationals.

The team plans on running at Attica Raceway Park on Friday night and returning Saturday to Fremont Speedway to close out the first full month of racing with the Kistler Racing Products F.A.S.T. Championship series.  The F.A.S.T. series is an independent points fund separate from the two track titles with a goal of providing 410 sprint car teams that stay loyal to Fremont & Attica with more cash & prizes at the end of a long season. This fan driven, sponsor backed race series will pay $10,000 in cash and prizes to its inaugural champion. These events will be the first events of 22 that count towards the 2009 F.A.S.T. Kistler Cup point standings.

The month of May will see the B&S Racing team continue their quest for the first ever Kistler Cup as well as defend their "home turf" against some of best in the business. Schedule highlights include the weekends of May 1st & 2nd, and May 15th & 16th competing with the F.A.S.T. series. Saturday May 23rd will be the first visit of the All Star Circuit of Champions to the Fremont Speedway. A past winner with the series, Byron will be looking to add  win number 8 with the All Stars in front of his home town fans. To close out the month, the "Monclova Missle" will again be counted on to lead the charge of local drivers as the World of Outlaws invade Attica Raceway Park May 29th. Stll seeking that first WoO career win, Reed has qualified for 37 WoO A main events, while collecting 6 top ten finishes with a career best 6th place finish coming in 2003 at K-C Raceway.

B&S Racing would like to thank those who help put that familiar black #5 on the track each weekend: JEI Performance Chassis, Kistler Engines, Pro Shocks, Schoenfeld Headers, Babcock Exc., LLC and Black Swamp Media Group.
